Humanities Library. The library holds books and journals in the humanities and the cultural sciences. The library also holds the National Resource Library for Gender Studies Kvinnsam, several donated collections and rarities as well as older prints, manuscripts and sound and video recordings.

In 1954 the library was moved to a new building near the Faculty of Arts at Humanisten. This is the Central Library today.
